 You’re invited to find out about what communities are doing to promote and support Healthy Living.  This first-of-a kind Trade Show, sponsored by Fraser Health, focuses on actions that strive to create a healthier community.

 Bonsor Recreation Complex – 6550 Bonsor Avenue, Burnaby. 

 There are two sessions to choose from – morning (10 am – noon) OR afternoon (1 pm – 3 pm).

 New Westminster will be represented at the Trade Show, along with sixteen other municipalities. This is an opportunity to learn what different municipalities are doing to “build better health together.” Topics covered include but are not limited to: active transportation initiatives; community healthy living and workplace challenges; healthy build environment initiatives; healthy eating policies; and smoking cessation programs.

Advancing our Knowledge of Healthy Aging

Join us for an evening of presentations regarding our current knowledge of the interplay between physical activity, cognitive function, mobility, and aging, as well as an introduction to the Canadian Longitudinal Study on Aging (CLSA); the largest, national, long-term study of adult development and aging in Canada.
