Family Literacy Circle with Cameray Centre – During this 7-week series, you and your child will enjoy songs, rhymes, and stories, which promote literacy and reading at home. A special incentive is that for every 10 books you read with your child at home, we will GIVE you 1 one free NEW book for you to keep (up to a maximum of 5 books for the duration of the series). This group will be run from 10:30am-1130am at the New Westminster Children’s Centre (811 Royal Ave.) every Friday for seven weeks starting on July 4th. Any family that is a New West resident and has at least one child under the age of 5 is welcome to attend. Families need to register for the group in advance but ARE NOT required to join the Parent Support Program in order to attend.
