Co-Parenting Information and Resources

Separation and divorce brings both significant changes and challenges to families. Although it seems that we are seeing couples divorce more and more often, the good news is that this transition can be handled in a way that is beneficial to all who are involved. When families have the tools, strategies, and support they need to help them adjust during this often difficult time, they can build happy, healthy futures.

Kids: The ❤ of Co-Parenting program does just that! This program – our most recent addition – provides information and resources to assist those employed in the family service sector in their work with families experiencing divorce. From easy-to-read tip sheets for parents, to videos and podcast interviews with experts on how to work with families through divorce, the program provides all the resources that you need!

RESOURCE GUIDE FOR PROFESSIONALS

To assist family-serving professionals in their important work with families experiencing separation and divorce, the BC Council for Families has developed a resource guide. An entry-level resource, the guide helps to broaden professionals’ knowledge of the issues faced by separating and divorcing families, and provides tools for working with parents and children.

TIP SHEETS FOR PARENTS
The six tip sheets provided in the Kids: The ❤ of Co-Parenting series have been designed to give family serving professionals and parents information and practical tools about the impact of separation/divorce on children and positive approaches to becoming effective co-parents.
