First Book Canada: Free Books: Apply by Jan 20th

First Book Canada provides new books to children in need, addressing one of the most important factors affecting literacy–access to books. Would the children in your program/school benefit from ongoing access to high quality, new books from leading publishers?
Does your program serve at least 70% children from low income families?

First Book Canada, a registered charity that provides new books and educational resources to children from low income families, will hold our first ever free book distribution in Vancouver, British Columbia the week of January 30th, 2012, distributing more than 40,000 new books generously donated by Owl Kids Books.
